Arsenal are set reignite their interest in signing Monaco’s Thomas Lemar when the transfer widow reopens, according to the Mirror.
Liverpool are also monitoring the situation and could battle for the Gunners in the race to secure the services of the midfielder who was close to securing a £92m move to the Emirates Stadium on transfer deadline day.
The twenty-one year old moved to Monaco from fellow French outfit Caen in the summer of 2015 and has since racked up ninety-five appearances in all competitions, scoring nineteen goals while he helped them win the Ligue 1 title last season.
He has also been capped a total of eight times for France, scoring both of his two international goals so far in a 4-0 win over the Netherlands, which took place during the final hours of the August transfer window while he also scored at each level from U17 to U21.
